Services Offered

  • I strive to support the performance and function of each child from infancy through young adulthood.

  • Treatment includes the use of specialized and individualized treatment techniques following an evidence based approach.

  • I encourage collaboration between family, caregivers, therapeutic care teams, sports coaches, school-based services, as well as early intervention teams ("Babies Can't Wait" in Georgia).

  • My focus keeps your family at the center of your child's care, as I support family dynamics in order to maximize carryover of skills.

  • I believe strongly in family training and preparation for discharge planning as a continuous focus throughout the rehabilitative process.

Vestibular Rehab

The vestibular system is a sensory system with organs in both inner ears, that communicates information to the brain about position and movement of the head relative to gravity. Because the vestibular system interacts closely with other sensory and nervous systems, your child may have a variety of symptoms. Treatment can include Canalith Repositioning Treatment / Epley Maneuver, balance training, habituation exercises, symptom management strategies, and gaze (visual) stabilization exercises.

Common Diagnoses:

  • Concussion

  • Motion Sensitivity

  • Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV)

  • Persistent Postural Perceptual Dizziness (PPPD)
