Hello :)
My name is Monique Query, PT, DPT, PCS
I am the sole Physical Therapist and owner of Cornerstone Pediatric PT. I graduated from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts in 2009 with a clinical doctorate in Physical Therapy. Prior to relocating to Atlanta in 2021, I provided physical therapy across the full life spectrum in 6 separate acute care hospitals in Boston, MA and Manchester, NH.
I began my career at Tufts Medical Center and Floating Hospital for Children (Level 1 Pediatric & Adult Trauma Hospitals) where I served clients across every patient service area. These included: all inpatient adult and pediatric wards, adult and pediatric emergency room, locked adult psychiatric ward, multiple adult and pediatric medical and surgical clinics, level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), mother and infant unit, labor and delivery, and outpatient adult and pediatric physical therapy clinics. I also had the distinct pleasure of acting as clinical instructor for PT students in both the inpatient and outpatient hospital settings.
In 2016 I sought further pediatric experience and mentorship by completing a 12 month pediatric physical therapy residency at Boston Children's Hospital. During residency, I received intensive one-on-one mentorship and experience in the following: level III / IV NICU, cardiac ICU, inpatient wards, multidisciplinary clinics (Orthopedics, Scoliosis, Spina Bifida, Cerebral Palsy, Spinal Muscular Atrophy, Brachial Plexus Injury, Chronic Pain), day rehabilitation for chronic pain, pre- / post-operative patient and caregiver education, research projects (Cystic Fibrosis, Chronic Pain), and I served as teaching assistant and guest lecturer for graduate PT students at Simmons University. Subsequently I acquired my Board Certification as a Pediatric Clinical Specialist in Physical Therapy from the ABPTS in 2017. In 2019, I had opportunity to work full time in the clinic and teach the next generation of PT's as an adjunct professor in Pediatrics at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences.
After 4 years at Boston Children's Hospital, I transitioned to The Elliot Hospital in Manchester, NH where I performed land and aquatic based outpatient therapy for adults and children. During the first 4 months of the pandemic in 2020, I was assigned to the level III NICU where I continued building my neonatal experience under direct mentorship. As I returned to outpatient care, I continued serving adult and pediatric clients with complex neurological and orthopedic conditions until I relocated to Atlanta.
Since arriving on the west side of Atlanta in 2021, I have worked in outpatient and home care settings with privately owned and hospital based companies. Now I'm bringing my expertise directly to clients through Cornerstone Pediatric PT!
My passion is to empower each child and family with confidence through the knowledge of their child's development, and the skills to support growth and maturation.
When not at work, I enjoy cooking, languages, museums, biking, soccer, travel, and playing with family and friends of all ages!
I want to know more about your family so together we can develop a plan.

Dedicated to children & families
Your child's ability to engage with the world depends on a foundation of skills, and their ability to interact with their environment. It is my privilege to work alongside families and community caregivers to ensure each child in my care has the skills and their team has the confidence to encourage ongoing growth and development into adulthood.
“I have seen Monique work with my granddaughter for several months now and I am grateful for her dedication and hard work, because we have seen amazing results in the baby's development. Monique doesn't limit her work to what is easy to see, but takes time to observe deeply into what will help meet the baby's goals. She is kind, easy to communicate with and very friendly. Spanish is the language I do best with and her knowing Spanish is such a blessing! It made it easier for me to understand what she shared and she answered my many questions with patience. She was also flexible when we needed to cancel or reschedule.
Monique considered how my granddaughter felt at the beginning of the therapy sessions and took that into consideration to make sure the baby felt comfortable. Monique came to our home and taught us how to use what we had for the exercises and empowered me so that I could have the baby practice her skills daily, not just when she had the therapy sessions. ”
